Enlightenment is a destructive process. It has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier. Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth. It’s seeing through the facade of pretense. It’s complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true. It creates a new perception, a new connection to the world. When we feel connected to everything, we feel responsible for everything. Our destiny is bound with the destinies of others. We must either learn to carry the universe or be crushed by it. We must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors.

  1. As a teacher for 50 years I have had considerable practice at living but not quite so much in the cyber world. That is at least partly why I have arrived at your site only recently. I am finding it a very rewarding experience.

The writing I have done since retiring has been very much concerned with the gaseous which hover around us, polluting our vision. Congratulations on the themes you are exploring, and thank you for making it available to me.

  2. Edit: “gaseous barriers”. Sorry. Such is antiquity!

  3. Really a great blog…
The Things which we see are in the blog about world, system.
